CDC Quill Emerger

Another 'Quill' offering; this time one of my favourite CDC emergers:

Olive Quill

A useful little olive pattern - this suits early season hatches of Large Dark Olives when smaller sizes often seem to be taken in preference to larger offerings.

Hook: Partridge SLD #18
Thread: 14/0 Sheer, grey
Tail: Coq de Leon
Body: Quill, dyed olive
Wing: CDC, tips tied over eye and then folded back.
